Suspension Repair in Pickering
Worn dampers let the tire skip over bumps instead of staying planted, which lengthens braking distances and scallops the tread. Suspension work restores both ride comfort and grip. Pickering drivers mostly run pickups, family SUVs and commuter sedans, which shapes what makes sense here.

Driving conditions in Pickering
Lake-driven freeze-thaw cycles put ice under wheels on mornings the forecast called clear. Add road salt and freeze-thaw potholes on Highway 401, 407, Brock Road and Kingston Road, and hardware choice matters as much as the headline spec.
- Shocks and struts wear gradually — most drivers don't notice until a new set goes on.
- Cupped or scalloped tread is the classic sign of dead dampers.
- Bushings and ball joints wear faster on Ontario roads than the service schedule suggests.
- Always align after replacing control arms, struts or anything that sets ride height.
