Why trust us

Tire reviews built on data, not marketing

We've tested 120+ tires over 15 years. Every score is the product of instrumented, real-world testing — and a strict policy of editorial independence.

Instrumented, not impression

Wet braking is measured from 60 mph. Tread depth is logged at regular intervals. Cabin noise is recorded at 70 mph. Scores come from data, not vibes.

Year-round, multi-condition testing

Each tire runs through the season it's built for — summer heat, autumn rain, mountain winter — across at least two vehicles over thousands of miles.

Editorial independence

We accept no payment for ratings or rankings. Brands cannot pay for a better score or a featured placement. Our verdicts are ours.

Verified customer reviews

Alongside our testing, we collect verified buyer reviews so you see how a tire performs in real owners' hands over years, not just on test day.

How we score

The five metrics behind every score

Every tire is scored from 0–10 across five dimensions. The overall score is a weighted blend — grip matters most, but value and longevity keep a great-grip tire honest.

Dry grip

Subjective cornering and braking evaluation plus lateral-grip reference runs on a controlled surface.

Wet grip

Instrumented 60–0 mph braking on a wet surface, plus hydroplaning-resistance evaluation through standing water.

Treadwear

Tread-depth measurement at fixed mileage intervals, projected against the manufacturer warranty.

Ride & noise

Cabin-noise recording at a steady 70 mph on coarse and smooth pavement, plus subjective ride comfort over broken surfaces.

Value

Price-per-mile and price-per-grip comparison against direct competitors in the same category.

Editorial independence

Limitless Tire Reviews operates independently of the brands we cover. We do not accept payment in exchange for ratings, rankings, or featured placement. If a manufacturer provides test tires, that fact is disclosed and carries no influence on the score.

Our reviews reflect our own testing and the verified experience of real buyers. When our data disagrees with a brand's marketing, the data wins — every time.

When we recommend Limitless Tire as a retailer, it's because we believe in the service — but the tire reviews themselves are independent of any purchase decision.
