- Where to buy
Radar is designed in Singapore and built to a tighter spec than most no-name imports. The Dimax AS-8 steers cleanly, resists tramlining, and stays quiet through its first half of tread life. Wet performance is mid-tier and noise increases as the tire wears past the halfway mark.
Pros
- +Crisper steering than most budget touring tires
- +Good dry braking for the class
- +Attractive pricing in 18–20 in. sizes
Cons
- −Noise increases in the second half of tread life
- −Wet grip merely adequate
- −Thin dealer network for warranty claims
Fitment and best use
Cars and crossovers, 15–20 in.. Best for larger-diameter fitments where premium tires get expensive fast.
