Where Gislaved sits
Solid everyday performance at a lower price point. Expect competent dry and wet grip, with a shorter tread life than premium rubber.
Strengths
- +Strong price-to-performance for daily driving
- +Widely stocked in common Ontario sizes
- +Usually backed by a real treadwear warranty
Watch-outs
- −Tread life typically trails premium rubber by 15,000–25,000 km
- −Wet braking is adequate rather than class-leading
Should you buy Gislaved in Ontario?
A sensible pick for a second set, a commuter car or a lease return. Pair with a dedicated winter tire rather than asking one set to do everything.
